How would it feel to think your the only one of your kind? Vlad is just another teenage boy who is trying to get passed high school and try to get the girl of his dreams. But can he be more? Vlad is in fact a vampire, but when one of the teachers from his new school disappears without a trace, could another vampire be involved? The new substitute teacher shows them the research list, could Vlad really handle finding out what others from his class think about his race? But things just keep getting worse and worse. Could things ever go back to the way they were, or is Vlad and his aunt doomed to be stuck down the drain without any light in sight? I give this book a 4 words out of 5 because I just love the title. Don't you? This book really draws you in from the very beginning. Spellbinding some would call it. Heather Brewer did a fantastic job with details. Its almost like your stand right beside them the whole way. Recommended to those of you who truly believe in the title.
