I'm finally home with my father, I have missed him so much since I got lost in the wilderness for months, surviving only because of my beloved wolf pack. They saved my life, and I shall always protect them and love them, just like my father. But father has given up many of our Eskimo ways for that ones that his new wife has in Minnesota. He owns snowmobiles and now is relying on industry. Maybe I was hoping that nothing would change, that father wouldn't have chosen to marry a woman that is not Eskimo, maybe I was hoping that he would be like I left him. He is still my father, and Ellen can't be so bad; it still hurts to know that Kapugen is willing to shoot any wolf that attacks his herd, even if they are the ones that saved my life. I must save them if I must, they are my family too, but will I have to give up my father again to do so? I just got him back.
This book was an excellent addition to the first book; this book carries on directly after the first so its helpful if you read them in order. I recommend this book to dog lovers or people who really love animals and they way live. 5 words out of 5 since I was a huge fan of the first book. Might be found in the school library, ask Mrs. Yusik for confirmation.
